        SecuCON is the new IP product line in YOKO technology. We invite the best developing team to create it. They are developed without turnkey solution. R&D develop this product series by RFC and national spec. So we can provide total ODM support. Not is limited by turnkey and SoC.
    We use more than 2000 test cases to promise our reliability. All the models are tested by R&D’s QA and manufacture DQA. All the products are tested by auto-testing utility in QC stage to keep the QC process correctly.

        The Institute for Information Industry (III) was established in 1979 as a non-governmental organization, jointly sponsored by the Taiwan government and prominent private enterprises, for the purpose of strengthening the developments of information industry in Taiwan.

YOKO uses USB interface let IP camera be more flexible to be used on WiFi or 3.5G solution

        Most of IP camera manufactures use embedded module to do wireless function. The problem is that customer doesn’t sure they want to wire or wireless when he buy IP camera. YOKO keeps the USB interface on backplane. We use USB dongle to extend it’s function. If user wants WiFi solution, he only needs to buy the 802.11n WiFi USB dongle from us. If user wants 3.5G SIM card solution, he only needs to buy the 3.5G USB dongle from us. So user can buy the IP camera body first for wire application. User buy the USB dongle when he feel to need the wireless function. It’s more flexible.
        Maybe someone will ask: “it’s easier to be removed”. If you are the hacker, do you spend more time to remove it? If I’m hacker, I will destroy the IP camera by hammer. The same issue is discussed many years ago. Surveillance camera uses the Y connector to be power connector many years ago. Many professional said that it’s more rugged than phone jack. It seems that hacker can remove the phone jack easily, so we need to use Y connector. Today, no one use Y connector to be power connector in surveillance camera. Why? Because hacker will not spend time to remove it. The phone jack is more convenience than Y connector.
        USB interface issue is as same as power connector issue. Hacker’s thinking is different with us.

YOKO will provide 3.5G SIM card solution

        Everyone needs to know the 3Gpp is different with 3.5G. They are two things. The 3Gpp is for mobile viewer to get video from IP camera. The 3.5G SIM card lets IP camera can send back the video through telecom’s station.
        The weather is out of control nearly. There are more and more governments pay attention on country territory monitoring. How does the video camera transfer it’s data back to monitor center? There are no xDSL in the mountain. In traditional, user needs use microwave to do it. But it’s too expensive. The 3.5G communication is more popular than before. We can use this path to send the video back to monitor center. The 3.5G communication is cheaper than microwave.
        YOKO will provide the 3.5G communication in middle of Sept.. It will be useful in feature.

Why Full HD or HD IP Camera are better than Megapixel IP Camera?

    SMPTE defines the Full HD and HD as following:
(1) 1920x1080P / 1280x720P
(2) 25 or 30 frame per second
(3) Resolution needs 16:9
    Now we discuss the different between Full HD/HD and 2M/1.3M/1M IP Cameras. Any IP camera’s effective pixels is more than 1M pixels, we can call that it is Megapixel IP Camera. But there are no any organizations to formula the standard. Many manufactures provide the Megapixel IP Camera, but can’t run as more than 25fps. Many products only provide 15fps or less than it.
    Why we need fit SMPTE’s definition? Everyone knows surveillance field is based on television field. It’s necessary to follow the television trend. In the early, television uses 4:3 resolutions, so surveillance uses 4:3 video. CRT uses interlace system, so surveillance uses interlace CCD sensor. Everything in surveillance follows television’s spec.. Even we know progressive scan is better than interlace scan, we still use interlace system because television use it.
    Right now, television field enter to next country. LCD television will replace the CRT system. LCD can support progressive scan video through D-SUB、DVI and HDMI interfaces. LCD can provide 16:9 panel let audience feel better when they watch TV program. So surveillance’s users don’t need to pay patience to use wrong system. User need 16:9, progressive scan and 30fps video.
